Chamber Membership Benefits

Marketing and promotional opportunities:

Free listing in the Member Directory / Business Guide. Wide distribution locally and used in referrals andresponseto requests received by mail, telephone, Internet and fax.

  • Free listing in Business Guide on Chamber web site with free link to members' web sites.

  • Free referrals in response to frequent inquiries on available businesses and services. It is Chamber policy to refer only Chamber members.

  • Member advertising at nominal rates on limited basis in monthly newsletter or web site.

  • Booth space at annual Business Expo (normally held in February).

  • News of business openings, expansions, etc. published in Chamber newsletter.

  • Assistance in distributing member promotional materials through the Chamber office.

Networking:

Monthly "Business After Hours" -- informal, relaxed contacts with fellow members with food and refreshments provided by host chamber members. Also new member introductions and opportunity to describe their businesses. Events frequently include brief presentations by hosts or guests on timely subjects.

  • Chamber Golf Tournament -- another opportunity for fun, relaxation and networking.

Annual meeting in December with social and dinner at Abingdon Ruritan Center.

Tourism promotion:

  • Chamber Information Center responds to numerous tourism inquiries on festivals and other local events, places to visit, accommodations, restaurants, etc., distributing brochures and other information. Cooperates with Gloucester County's Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism in distribution of its promotional materials.

Relocation Information:

Relocation Packets distributed from coast-to-coast to individuals considering moving to or establishing businesses in the area. Packets also available to member firms upon request.

Insurance and long distance phone benefits:

Chamber participation in region-wide ChamberSolutions program offers: (a) group-type savings on expanded
